Easy ways to manage your contact data

A good texting system is no use unless there is an easy way to keep your contact information up to date. Not only does TXTRound make managing contact data simple, it even helps you to improve the quality of your contact information.

Import SIMS data

If yours is one of the 22,000 schools that use SIMS.net from Capita Education Services then getting your contact data into TXTRound couldn't be simpler. Just run a SIMS report that we can provide for you and a file will be produced in the format needed to upload to TXTRound. Then, simply upload your file (like attaching a file to an email). TXTRound will highlight any bad numbers so you can contact the parents for an update.

Importing Integris data

TXTRound fully supports importing data from Integris. Simply follow the detailed instructions available in the Help Centre to import your contact data in under 5 minutes.

Importing from other systems

In other systems such as Facility, EStart, Softsmart simply run a contacts report, save the report with columns laid out as in the TXTRound import guidelines and upload your file. As with SIMS.net import we'll highlight any bad numbers so that you can chase parents for updated information.

Data quality

TXTRound helps you improve the quality of your contact data. When you import or enter contact information TXTRound will tell you if it doesn't appear to be a valid number, stopping rubbish getting in.

Then, every time you send a text message TXTRound checks it is delivered to the phone. If a message isn't delivered the number is highlighted in an exceptions report.

Finally, if a number has three failed messages sent, it gets highlighted everywhere it is shown in TXTRound.

You can nudge the parents, and your contat information keeps getting better.
